The Steering Committee for the Test Of Proficiency-Huayu (SC-TOP) has officially released the schedule for the 2027 Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL). We highly encourage all international students and foreign staff to take this opportunity to evaluate your Chinese proficiency.
Please find the important updates and guidelines below:
1. Test Schedule & Fees

Formal Tests: There will be 7 formal tests held in 2027. Each session will take place over a weekend (Saturday and Sunday). For detailed dates and registration fees, please refer to Attachment 1.

Pilot Tests: Two large-scale pilot tests will be held in April and October to help candidates familiarize themselves with the test format and procedures.
2. Registration Methods

Individual Registration: Please apply through the TOCFL Online Registration System (https://tocfl.edu.tw/TW/) during the designated registration period. To protect your personal information and prevent scams, please register by yourself and avoid using unknown third-party agencies.
3. Test Rules & Preparation Resources Before registering, please ensure you have read the TOCFL Examination Rules carefully (see Attachment 2). To help you prepare for the exam, SC-TOP provides various learning resources:
